Surgery
Dr Million is currently the senior surgeon at Hossana hospital, and has recently been joined by Dr Abebe, who workedas a junior doctor in Hossana previously.. With their colleague in obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Abebaw, they deal with a very wide range of elective and emergency surgery, backed up by excellent anaesthetic nurses and theatre staff.
The second operating theatre in Hossana has recently been opened, with potential for a third theatre in the event of emergency. This has allowed increased though-put of cases, as routine lists are no longer interrupted by emergencies.
